The durable matting system
The matting system Tec22 consists of highly durable aluminium profiles with integrated hinges and is rollable. It can be fitted with exchangeable brush-, bristle-fused-, needle-punchand / or rubber-strips.Thus the system is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Tec22 offers the maximum amount of safety, durability and cleanliness. The closed construction prevents dirt from accumulating under the profile and thus lifting the mat. The hinge construction provides an even surface and ensures safety and durability of Tec22. Blunt forces, which could possibly damage a single profile, are evenly distributed via the direct hinge construction. This makes Tec22 extremely durable. Ordinary aluminium systems with an indirect wire connection cannot offer this distribution of force. This makes Tec22 ideal for highly frequented and load-bearing entrance areas; supermarkets, hospitals, hotels and airports to name but a few.
Tec22 offers safety to the physically impaired, wheel-chair users and supports nearly all types of load-carrying vehicles.
The Tec22 system was developed in 1990 for and in cooperation with – the Munich Airport. Subsequently airports worldwide were and are equipped with this extremely load-bearing matting system.
Customisation of Tec22 is also possible. Almost every geometric shapes and conceivable mat contours can be produced. The profile height is 17 mm and the total height up to 22 mm.

We deliver a 1 mm rubber mat as impact sound insulation free to every mat. Should the mat well go deeper than 10 mm, can we also deliver the rubber mats to create a height compensation. We have 1 – 5 mm thickness in stock.
Open construction
The open system Tec22 has been developed for specific purposes. This system predominantly finds use in shopping centres with built-in ventilation systems. The oblong holes in the aluminium profiles support air circulation and ensure dirt removal.
